Bernie's 38-year career in Chicago has made him one of the city's best-known "mad men". He founded DiMeo & Co. in 1987 after a 16-year career in advertising and public relations. Prior to launching his own firm, Bernie handled publicity for the Chicago Park District from 1971 until 1978, when he joined agency Weber, Cohn & Riley.

Chicago Sun Times business editor Lewis Lazare called Bernie ‘harmlessly twisted and publicity obsessed’. Lazare also said of Bernie, ‘he is as adept at self-promotion as he is at the art and craft of promoting clients’.

Because of his many strong relationships with friends, colleagues, clients, government officials, etc., Bernie is always able to find a way to get things done for clients – even if it’s out of his agency’s sweet spot.

Following successful stints at several well-known Chicago shops, Robin originally joined DiMeo & Co.'s staff in 1995. She is a two time Tower Award winner (Business Marketing Association) and a published writer and author. Her background includes agency and client side positions, as well as experience in business-to-business, consulting, not-for-profit and event planning. Robin holds degrees in Speech Communication and Public Relations from the University of Wisconsin.

Since earning his Master of Science degree in Public Communications Management from Syracuse University, Keith has spent the last 27 years creating compelling campaigns for a broad range of clients in numerous industries and disciplines.

Keith has been recognized often for his work and has been awarded the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) Silver Anvil, two PRSA Gold Pick Awards and a Golden Trumpet Award from the Publicity Club of Chicago and a Telly Award for his work with Michael Jordan and Sammy Sosa on behalf of the City Colleges of Chicago.

The newest member of BDC, Christa is a wearer of many hats. She is innovative with social media and an expert in using it for promotions and marketing. Her creative work brings brands to life, delivering engaging visual concepts along with concise brand messaging to various target markets. Christa's attention to detail, passion for planning, and knack for staying on top of trends make her a triple threat, helping our clients succeed in every way possible, from strategy to execution.

Christa holds a degree in Marketing Communications and Advertising from Columbia College Chicago.

Maggie has been called a "creative genius", and since joining our team, she has quickly established a reputation of knowing how to create graphics that are meaningful to different target markets, while ensuring that the brand message remains consistent on all points. She is innovative and creative in all of her work, and has received accolades from both colleagues and clients alike.

Maggie holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin.
